Results from the 2011 Consumer Electronics Association Holiday Survey

`Tis the season for consumer electronics products. This year consumer electronics will set another record for overall sales and will actually account for about one-third of all holiday gift spending.  That’s the word from Jim Barry of our client the Consumer Electronics Association. Barry reported the results of the 18^th annual CEA Holiday survey in an RNR we released this week.  He says the top electronics items this year are: “Tablets, lap-tops and e-readers are hot along with video games and televisions, gift cards for content, digital music, movies and e-books.  Even apps for your smartphone or tablet have emerged this year as a major trend.” You can hear the audio on NewsInfusion here,
