Did you know that American parents are expected to spend approximately 21 billion dollars this year on back-to-school shopping for kids from kindergarten through 12th grade? For our client Ketchum representing Chase, we booked and produced an RMT with 15 interviews with Michelle Madhok, an online shopping expert and founder of www.momfinds.com. Michelle offered numerous tips to help parents save money, because, she said, parents spend an average of over $600 per student getting kids ready for the first day of school. Michelle’s advice? She said follow your favorite retailers on Twitter and Facebook to get special deals, promo codes or early access to sales.
