Have you Filed Your Taxes?

April 5^th, 2011-With Tax Day coming, this is the time of year when all thoughts turn to finances.  That’s particularly true this year as the economy continues to recover from the recession but many of us don’t feel as though we have fully recovered.  For our client ING Individual Retirement, we booked and produced an RMT with ING CEO Lynne Ford who told 18 stations in the three hour that a majority of Americans find retirement planning and investing confusing and overwhelming. What they want is to have the freedom to make their own retirement planning decisions, but they want help with choosing their retirement investments to meet their needs and goals.

From saving for tomorrow, we move now to saving on this year’s taxes.  For Fidelity we produced one national and 20 target market radio stories with Fidelity Investment specialists talking about last minute 2010 tax savings available by making IRA contributions up through the April 15th tax day deadline.  As you can imagine, we were quite busy producing the 21 stories.  And if that wasn’t enough, the releases included EDFs to local and national markets, 10 secured broadcasts on Radio America, and four secured broadcasts on USA, BTRN, Lifestyle and these news cluster channels of Sirius / XM satellite radio.
